Teen and Adult Swim Lessons

TEENS AND YOUNG ADULT SWIM LESSONS

Beginner Teen/Young Adult Lessons
For 13-18 year olds who wish to become more comfortable in the water. You will be using flotation devices as you get more and more comfortable in the water. We will teach the basics of freestyle and backstroke along with some treading water. (min. 3)

Intermediate/Advanced Teen/Young Adult Lessons
For 13-18 year-olds who wish to improve their strokes and learn butterfly. Must be able to swim two laps of the pool. (min. 3)

*Due to lack of interest, we will not run a Teen/Young Adult Swim class for the Fall session. If you are interested in swim lessons for this age, please contact the Aquatics department at 314-439-9622 x247 to discuss your options.

ADULT SWIM LESSONS

Seven week sessions (six classes) meets on Tuesdays.
Fall I session: September 8-October 26
Registration Deadline: September 5 @ Noon
Fall II session: October 27-December 14
Registration Deadline: October 24 @ Noon

Beginner Adult Lessons
For individuals who feel at ease in the water and know basic floating and swimming skills. Teaches freestyle and backstroke, elementary backstroke and treading. (min. 3)

Intermediate Adult Lessons
For swimmers who wish to improve their basic skills. Teaches &/or refines breaststroke and sidestroke. (min. 3)

Advanced Adult Lessons
For swimmers who wish to improve their stroke efficiency and endurance. All strokes will be taught and refined. Open and racing turns introduced. (min. 3)

Adult Private Lessons Receive six 30-minute lessons per session. Contact the Aquatics Department for more information. #20509-01
