Wellness Center "Getting Started" Orientation (ages 12+)
Get started on a safe and effective workout program. Learn safe operation of all fitness equipment while learning proper strength training and cardiovascular exercise techniques. By appointment only. Appointments may be made at the service center. Please come dressed to work out. Tennis shoes are mandatory. Appointment lasts approximately one hour. One person per appointment.

Fitness Evaluation (ages 16+)
Want to know how far you’ve come? First, you need to know where you are starting. Let us evaluate your baseline fitness level, including resting heart rate, body composition, 3-minute step test and flexibility. Do not eat, work out, or drink immediately preceding your appointment, and know that certain medications can skew results. By appointment only. Please come dressed to work out. Tennis shoes are mandatory.

Personal Training
If you need a personalized fitness program, a more challenging workout, or some extra support, a YMCA personal trainer is for you! Our nationally certified trainers will work one-on-one with you to develop a customized fitness program and help motivate you to reach your personal fitness goals. The program combines strength training, cardiovascular, and flexibility exercises. By appt. only. One person per appointment.

Teen Specialized Personal Training (ages 12-16)

Fitness Mentor
Work with Lyle Mudge, a YMCA member, with an avid interest in Health & Fitness activities. He offers a free service to assist with developing health and fitness activities tailored to your personal goals, with primary emphasis on walking or cycling activities.
