The Four Rivers Area Family YMCA offers Zumba classes throughout the year. Zumba is the fitness phenomenon that is taking the world by storm! Zumba is a fusion of Latin and international music and dance themes creating a dynamic, exciting and effective fitness system. Zumba utilizes the principles of cardio and fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning, and total body toning. Zumba is an interval workout. The cross training program begins with a warm up, followed by alternating faster and slower songs and ends with a cool down.
