Youth Fitness Training

Introduction to Youth Fitness Training focuses on the fundamentals of exercise in the gym and at home. Participants will participate in group exercises and will be introduced to some exercise machines, proper use of dumbbells, barbells and other free-weights and plate loaded exercises, the Smith Machine, mat exercises, medicine ball, stability ball and others. Emphasis is on the principles of proper form, safety, gym etiquette and development of an exercise routine. This is a hands on instructional class to prepare for, and develop and interest in, a lifetime of fitness and exercise. Classes conducted by a Certified Personal Trainer.

Teen Fitness Orientation

BY APPOINTMENT ONLY - Approximately 60 minutes

Get started on a safe and effectiive workout program-orientation to strength training and Cardio-Respiratory exercises for teens, safe operation of fitness center equipment, gym etiquette and the teen's first workout routine designed by a Certified Personal Trainer.

A small group of 3-6 women meeting with Ilda Porter who is a certified trainer.
Thursdays 9:30 -10:30 AM for 7 Weeks!

Each class design offers a variety of strength training workouts for your total body!

RANDY PUTZLER - PERSONAL TRAINER OF THE MONTH

Randy Putzler is an NFPT and AFAA Certified Personal Fitness Trainer. He also holds certifications and certificates in Telefitness Training, Stability Ball Training and Senior Fitness. He is an experienced and knowledgeable trainer, having completed an array of courses and programs with the YMCA, the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America, National Federation of Professional Trainers, National Academy of Sports Medicine, the American Senior Fitness Association and others. He is a CPR/AED/First Aid Instructor for the American Red Cross and is qualified instructor in the Silver Sneakers program. He specializes in General Weight Loss, Conditioning and Senior Fitness. He is a graduate of Columbia College and, prior to retiring to devote himself exclusively to fitness training, he enjoyed a 30-plus year career in Health Care and Human Resources Management, management consulting and as a management development and employee relations specialist.

Are you tired of your same routine? Look into personal training to get you motivated to reach your goals. A qualified personal trainer will work one-on-one with you to develop a customized fitness program that will work for you, and work with you throughout the training. A 90 minute introductory session is required. This includes a comprehensive fitness evaluation and training session. Follow up sessions are for 60 minutes. For MEMBERS ONLY
