Marathon Training!

The whole 26.2 miles. Training coincides with the Chicago marathon in October and starts the week of June 1 with Melissa Brown. This does not register you for the Chicago-registration for that is open and anyone interested should sign up now before it fills-which usually takes about 3 weeks.

Quit Smoking for Life

Sign up for the Freedom From Smoking program. Learn how to overcome your tobacco addiction so you can start enjoying the benefits of better health. Classes are fun, interactive, in a small group setting. A participant workbook and other informative materials are provided.

Monday at 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon, or
Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Instructed by Nurse Practitioner, Jen Schmidt, RN MSN NP-C
Held at the YMCAM, MP Room B
Class fee $39 for seven weeks. Free to YMCA members.

Zumba Classes at the YMCA

The Four Rivers Area Family YMCA is now offering Zumba classes five days a week. The Zumba program fuses Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow dance moves. The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat.

Thursday Boot Camp at 5:15 a.m.
So you didn’t get enough on Tuesday, eh? Two strength workouts a week are great for your body and overall health. #10312-02

Y Party
Ages 6 and up. Choose a fun activity in the gym or swimming pool. After that there’s time set aside in our party room for your own celebration.

SENIOR LUNCHEON

Join us for friends and fun at our monthly luncheon for seniors. A wonderful pot luck lunch is served on the third Monday of every month at the YMCA. Bring your favorite dish to share. Bingo to follow.
