Meet the Crane Family

Hi! We are the Crane Family. Freddy, Jen, and Sasha.
Freddy and I joined the YMCA in 1998. Over the years we have grown close to many people at the YMCA and can’t imagine our lives without it. When we adopted our son, Sasha, in 2002 the YMCA provided an outstanding family atmosphere for the three of us.
The YMCA has also supported so many of the people we advocate for through our work at Developmental Services of Jefferson County. They all look forward to going to the YMCA to stay healthy and meet new people in their community.
We are most thankful to the YMCA for the support they provided to our family during this past year. I was diagnosed with cancer in March of 2008. During this difficult time in our lives, the YMCA reached out to us as if we were their family. I could not attend for several months, but it was a great outlet for Freddy and Sasha. The YMCA so generously waved our monthly fee during my months of chemotherapy.
We are truly blessed to belong to the YMCA. We all of our health, our happiness, and our gratitude! We look forward to growing with the YMCA and being a part of their family for many years to come.
