Meet Ariel Nicole Casey and Her Son

Ariel Nicole Casey is determined to make a better life for herself and her little boy Avie. Avie is just 2 years old, but already enjoys the active Kid’s Zone and swimming in the Jefferson County Family YMCA pool. Ariel Nicole has had many positive experiences at the YMCA. She started coming with her mom when she was younger, and she remembers having a great time at the after-school programs.

Now as an adult with a small child, Ariel Nicole knew it was necessary to get involved with a place that promoted a healthy lifestyle. When a friend, mentioned the Jefferson County YMCA, Ariel knew she had found a place for herself and Avie. They love the atmosphere, people and being a part of the YMCA family.

Ariel Nicole says that you can go many places to work out, but the YMCA offers more. The YMCA offers a well-balanced environment where kids can learn about caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Not only do the kids learn about life values, but also, it gives family time to be with each other in a positive and healthy setting.

We are so grateful to have Ariel Nicole and Avie represent the Jefferson County Family YMCA for the Strong Community Campaign. Ariel Nicole said, “Once I graduate and finances are a place where no help is needed, I hope to be able to help someone else.”
