Pass it on...help build a Strong Community!

The Strong Community campaign ensures that no one of any age, race, gender or ability, will be turned away from the YMCA due to inability to pay. Founded in 1853, the YMCA of Greater St. Louis is a not-for-profit, charitable organization dedicated to building strong kids, strong families, and strong communities.
One of our Y-Member's story:
Rhalashondra is a full-time nursing student and her husband, Kevin, owns his own detailing company. Their two-year-old son, Rasheed, attends the Minier Early Childhood Education Center at the Mid-County Family YMCA. Thanks to those who give to the Strong Community Campaign, the YMCA has been able to provide financial assistance to this family so they can have a better life for their child. They have peace of mind, knowing that he is well taken care of while they go to school and work.

Rhalashondra has told the YMCA several times that when she completes her degree she will give back to the YMCA, passing on the support and encouragement she has received to another deserving family.
