Kid Palooza
What fun we all had on Saturday, October 10 at Hands on Kirwood's "Kid Palooza". Hand's on Kirkwood is a collaboration with many organizations and businesses in the Kirkwood community such as the Kirkwood Baptist Church, Kirkwood Family YMCA, Kirkwood Police & Fire Deprtments as well as many others. The event was held at Walker Park & the Kirkwood Family YMCA at the corner of Washington & Taylor from 9:30 am - 1:00 pm. Food, games, reptile show, music. You name it, we had it. Familys enjoyed quality time together and children loved all of the activities. thnaks for coming out and supporting this great event.

What a wonderful day. Beautiful weather, a well organized event and of course the over 250 runners. Family and friends came out to enjoy the weather and cheer their loved ones on. Many also participated in the the 1mile family run. Congratulations to all of our participants and a big thank you to all of our sponsors an volunteers.

The Kirkwood-Webster Groves YMCA participated in this years July 4th parade. 2008 marks the Webster Groves YMCA's 50th Anniversary. We want to thank the community for your continued support.

The day was a huge success! We had 112 golfers and 144 participants at the dinner auction. Together we raised over $27,000 that will help provide financial assistance for children, adults, and families in our community through programs that are based on our four character values: Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.
