More than 200 people participated in the Jefferson County Family YMCA/Jefferson Regional Medical Center 5K Fun Run/Walk, September 12, 2009 in Crystal City, MO.

The Jefferson County Family YMCA Aquatics department is sponsoring a Handprints Hall of Fame in the pool area to support the Partner Campaign. People can put their handprints on the wall, decorate it like a fish and sign their name. Check out the pics.

Children at the Jefferson County Family YMCA enjoy a yoga class just for them. Children who practice yoga develop strong, limber and healthy bodies. And, they LOVE it!

Jefferson County Family YMCA Board of Advisor's recently voted for various awards at the annual board social held in Festus.

Katelan Kerr, Jefferson County Family YMCA member has been chosen to be a cheerleader for the St. Louis Rams in the 2008-09 season. She survived 3 cuts of over 100 girls that tried out for the squad. Katelan graduated from Festus High School in 2004, has a son named Kobe and both regularly are seen at the YMCA. Katelan is seen here taking the abs class, although her favorite class is step. Congratulations, Katelan, we are very proud of you!

Many families enjoyed activities during Healthy Kids Day at the Jefferson County Family YMCA.

The Jefferson County Family YMCA hosted a Wii Bowling Tournament, Saturday, April 12, 2008. Many people enjoyed the friendly competition and winners were awarded in 4 age categories. All proceeds benefited YMCA World Service.

Christmas was celebrated in a big way with Jefferson County Family YMCA Lil Rascals Preschool families.

Two people were recently recognized for being excellent employees at the Jefferson County Family YMCA. Andrew Hubbard has been very dependable and a great role model for youth sports participants as well as staff. He does a superior job as an official and has received numerous complements from coaches. Andrew has taken on schedule changes in stride and is always willing to help out.. Christin Peoples jumped in and took on SACC site director responsibilities during the absences of a director. When a director was found, she then trained the director. She volunteers to work extra hours on SOS days and is willin gto help out other departmens as needed. Christin is a true "Professional Role Model" and is a huge asset to our YMCA.

The Active Older Adults ladies meet in the YMCA lobby and create beautiful butterfiles out of plastic bottles to sell. Proceeds help send a kid to YMCA camp. Prices are $1 for the small butterflies and $2 for the large ones.
