Carol’s story
Carol started taking her kids to the Y when she moved to Kirkwood four years ago. As a single mom it was absolutely necessary to have a safe, nurturing environment for her kids to be in before and after school. Without the financial assistance she received thanks to those who give to the Partner Campaign, her children would not have been able to participate in School Age Child Care or Day Camp.

The Kirkwood - Webster Groves Family YMCA is joining the YMCA of Greater St. Louis and YMCAs around the United States and the Search Institute in making sure that our programs focus in the 40 developmental assets that have been shown to be critical in the positive development of children.

Child Watch Hours

Child Watch
For children 6 weeks to 12 years of age on a first come, first served basis. Limited to two hours, this adult supervised play area is available while parents utilize the YMCA. Both In addition, Children ages 2 ½ and up may also use Kids Express. All Child Watch areas are FREE to full family members.

Kids Gym Parties
Celebrate your child's birthday at the Y. we supply the staff, balloons and party coupons (to revisit). The party is for 1 1/2 hours (includes time for supervised play, cake and gifts). Recommended for ages 8 & under.

AOA stands for Active Older Adults. They meet every Tuesday at the Kirkwood YMCA for card playing, socialization and meet and greet.
If you are age 55 or older, you are invited to join us, you don't even need to be a member.

We are looking for volunteers to help out with the annual Carondelet YMCA bookfair! Help is needed throughout the summer leading up to the bookfair to be held August 22nd - 27th.

Thank you for all your book donations! Now...we just need to get them to the Carondelet Y. We are looking for volunteers to help us transport them to Carondelet and/or sign up for a shift to sort through the books and categorize the selection for the fair!
