South City Family YMCA Community Garden

The South City Family YMCA Community Garden has started to bear fruits and vegetables. You can check out pictures of our spoils and the children actually picking them in our album located on the left side of the page. The Community Garden is a partnership between Gateway Greening and South City Family YMCA. Gateway Greening and the YMCA received a three-year grant from the Monsanto Fund to assist in developing the gardens and the educational programs for the YMCA. Future plans include getting more involvement from the community and the addition of more beds.
