Spooks a-plenty for Halloween on the South 40!

Safe Trick-or-Treat spread its Halloween spirit across the South 40 on the afternoon of October 28. Campus Y volunteers led neighboring kids - toting along parents and candy bags - through the residential halls.

It was quite a spooktacular spectacle seeing as all the residential halls participated in the event this year! There were two haunted houses - one organized by EnCouncil and the other located in the Meyers dorm, the JKL plaza hosted games and activities, halloween cookie decorating in Mudd dorm, and candy stations set up around the South 40.

The turnout was great: we had well over 20 volunteers from the Campus Y, over 200 children, and over 90 adults! Safe Trick-or-Treat proved to be quite a success and we can only hope that next year brings as much joy as this year.
