Jefferson County Family YMCA Board of Advisor’s were recently recognized at the annual board social held at Petite Paree in Festus.
The board members voted on the light-hearted and fun awards in addition to Policy Volunteer of the Year and 110% Awards.
The awards were as follows:
Mike Walsh, President of Eagle Bank & Trust -Policy Volunteer of the Year Award (Outstanding board member who has been completely dedicated to the YMCA)
Darin Basler, CFP, Branch Manager, Raymond James Financial Services – 110% Award (Outstanding board member that puts in his or her own time and doesn’t expect recognition.
David Wright – Multiple Hats Award (Takes on many duties and accomplishes assigned tasks)
Chuck Mitchell, Adam McCullough, Judy Simms – Most Familiar Face at the YMCA (Always at the Y working out)
Don Rueschhoff – Years of Blood, Sweat and Tears Award (Someone who has served as a YMCA board member for many years and is continually involved)
Glenda Potts, Sue Short, Frank Roland, Suzanne Seek, Coby Redfield – Happy To Be Involved Award (Someone who is always eager to lend a hand and help with projects)
Steve Stoll – Most Entertaining Member Award (This one speaks for itself)
Kirk Mooney – Can’t Do Enough Award (Never turns away from a person or group in need)
Nancy Johnson, Jim Schneader – Outspoken Member Award (Someone who is not afraid to ask questions and give an opinion)
Bob Tipton – Missionary Award – (Someone who has taken on missionary projects within our community and abroad)
Lynn Anderson, Kim Smith, Kathy Senkel – Rookie of the Year (First/Second year board member who has shown involvement)
Terry Coleman, Suzy Gravenmier – Lucky Us Award (Someone who shares their home between two places, but always finds time for the YMCA, Lucky Us!)
Kevin Roberts, Lynne Parker, Cheryl Noce, Brad Basler – Team Player Award (A dependable person with a positive attitude)
Dorothy Stafford – We Miss You Award (A board member who’s been gone for a while, and we miss their smiling face and helping hand)
Frank & Betty Laiben, Oliver and Janet Berwin and YMCA staff were welcomed as guests at the social.
