Purpose of Position:

Under the guidance and supervision of the Program Executive the Program Supervisor is responsible for supporting current teen programs. Qualification Requirements

Under the direction of the Property Manager, the Maintenance Technician IV, performs routine recurring and non-recurring functions related to the House Department in accordance with the policies, procedures and standards of the Association and the Branch.

Qualification Requirements

Education: High School diploma

Experience: Training and/or certification in building systems repair, maintenance and housekeeping is desired. Must be familiar with and/or be able to learn how to make repairs to facilities, grounds and equipment. Must have valid drivers license.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Actively promote the association and branch safety program.
  • Assist the Property Manager in maintaining the Job Control log by filing out Maintenance Work Orders.
  • Follow the annual and monthly maintenance plans.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on heating, ventilating, air conditioning systems. Including changing belts, filters, lubricating motors and other minor repairs as needed.
  • Perform minor maintenance on electrical systems, including repairing lights, outlets, and switches.
  • Perform minor maintenance on plumbing systems including repairing sinks, commodes, and urinals.
  • Perform building maintenance including repairing doors, locks, ceilings, floors and floor coverings, tile (installation and grouting), painting and so on.
  • Maintain and repair mechanical equipment.
  • Maintain stock and inventory of maintenance related parts and tools.
  • Inventory parts, tools, and related supplies with the Property Managers approval.
  • Required to know the Excellence in Facilities Training Program and Association Custodial and Grounds Standards.
  • Fill in at various positions when there are personnel shortages, vacations or special projects.
  • Assist the custodial staff in maintaining the facility in a safe, clean and orderly manner in accordance with association and branch cleaning standards and policies.
  • Extract, vacuum and otherwise maintain carpets.
  • Pick up trash and debris on parking lot, facility grounds and perimeter.
  • Insure the safe operation of all facility equipment.
  • Doing laundry.
  • Keeping tools and cleaning equipment clean and functional.
  • Maintaining an organized workspace.
  • Follow a shift schedule and follow time card protocol.
  • Remove snow and ice from sidewalks, driveways and parking lot.
  • Set up and tear down tables and chairs for various functions.
  • Be able to use the scaffolding in a safe manner.
  • Perform all assigned duties necessary to keep the facilities clean, safe and in proper working order in accordance with the policies, procedures and standards of the Association and the Branch.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Responsible for quality of the reception and customer service provided to members and guests of the Urban Service Department located in the Computer Lab, in person, phone, or fax, office support services relating to programs. Opening the department between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday and signing members and quests in and out of the computer lab.
2. Responsible for the accounts payable, accounts receivable, and deposits for all accounts.
3. Provide administrative support to Program Executive, including all correspondence with volunteers. Also efficiently coordinate all administrative support projects such as mailings, copies, faxes, etc.
4. Administer, coordinate, and is responsible for Annual Campaign, United Way Campaign, Capital Campaign, and World Service Campaign systems, records, mailings, reports, and procedures including data entry and information processing utilizing the AS400 system.
5. Assist and participate in special events and fundraising events.
6. Prepare monthly meeting notices, taking and typing of meeting minutes, tracking attendance for meetings.  
7. Prepare monthly financials reports for Program Executive.
8. Maintain calendar for all activities in the branch and be knowledgeable about other staff schedules to coordinate overall office activities and coverage.
9. Manage staff expenditures. Establish and maintain a system to track and bill all reimbursable expenses for staff.
10. Develop and coordinate efficient office communication systems, including computers, phone, and filing system in a professional and friendly manner.
11. Implement basic understanding of cost-effective purchase practices and needs to include office supplies, computer equipment, catering, program related materials and office equipment.
12. Process facility rental contracts.
13. Manage and maintain general appearance and upkeep of the department, including, but not limited to bulletin boards, wall decorations, and outside information boards.
14. Prepare work order for maintenance request.
15. Serve as data processing technology contact for the department.
16. Responsible for disseminating info to the Marketing Director.
17. Perform other duties as deemed necessary by the Program Executive.
