YMCA Bookfair

After 6 months and more than 7,000 volunteer and staff hours, the 30th YMCA Bookfair was a huge success at the new location at the Kennedy Recreation Center in Susan Park in South County. The new site with its air-conditioning, single level, and wider aisles received rave reviews from both customers and workers. A big thank you to all our board members and friends who volunteered their time to make this event possible.

FIELD DAY: From Elementary School to University

On Saturday, March 24th, elementary school kids stormed Washington University’s Athletic Complex. Why, you ask? For Field Day, one of the Campus Y’s new programs this school year. Field Day was designed to recognize elementary students who had performed exceptionally well this academic year, giving them a chance to have fun and be rewarded for their hard work.
