
About the Washington University Campus YMCA
The Washington University Campus Y was chartered on campus in 1912. It was interrupted by WWI and reorganized in 1924. The Campus Y has been an active student organization on campus ever since, offering a wide variety of programs to meet the needs of the students, Washington University and the greater St. Louis community.
- During the school year 2006-2007:
- 895 Washington University students, participated in Campus Y Programs.
- 95 Student Leaders led our programs
- 47,881 hours of service were provided to the community.
- 10,843 people locally, nationally and internationally were served.
- The estimated economic impact of our service programs was $898,726.
