
Volunteer and Make a Difference
To learn how you can make a difference in the community as a Wildwood Family YMCA Partner campaign volunteer, please contact Mike Gavosto or call (636)458-6636, extension 233. The Wildwood Family YMCA has a great volunteer program. To inquire, please contact Karen Voss or call (636)458-6636, extension 238. As little as one hour a week can make a difference in the lives of so many people.
Volunteer positions are available in the following areas:
- Fitness Center
- Facilities
- ChildWatch
- Membership
- Sports
- Teen and Family
- Camp
- Aquatics
- Special Events
Please consider becoming a volunteer literacy English-language tutor. The YMCA Literacy Council provides the training to become a Certified Tutor. Please call Program Coordinator Karen Voss at (636)458-6636, extension 238, for more details. Upcoming literacy tutor trainings for 2008 will be held January 26 and February 2; June 21 and 28; September 6 and 13 and November 8 and 15.
Volunteer your time and become part of an Adult Advisory Group. If you are age 55 and up you can participate in program planning, monitoring of program quality and feedback. If interested contact Karen Voss.
