It is time to start thinking about making summer memories for your child! The Mid-County Family YMCA invites you to join us this Saturday, March 1, 2008 for our camp open house. Please come and meet our camp director, enjoy arts, crafts, and lots of fun from 9 a.m. to noon.

On Saturday evening, February 23, the Mid-County YMCA will host a FREE Sockhop for members and the community as we celebrate 50 years of service to the Mid-County area.

We hope that you will take advantage of the opportunity to print it out and come spend some time with us. We would love the opportunity to meet with you and show you around, and introduce you to the Mid-County Family YMCA family of members, volunteers, and staff!

Communities all share a concern about the safety and welfare of their youth and search for ways to keep their young people safe. Project Safe Place is a program designed to provide access to immediate help and safety to young people at risk of abuse, neglect or serious family problems. It is a cost-effective program offering youth and their families access to counseling and effective resolution to their conflicts before their situation escalates beyond their control. Businesses, community buildings and buses are designated as Safe Place sites and prominently display a distinctive yellow and black Safe Place logo. Any youth can walk into a Safe Place and let an employee know that they need help. They are quickly connected with a youth serving agency that can provide the help they need.

Effective January 1, 2008, the Mid County Family YMCA has extended its facility hours. In response to your comments and concerns of Highway 40 construction, we are pleased to announce our longer hours of operation.

Leagues for the 2008 Spring session are now forming!
Teams must be registered in a leagues appropriate to their skill level. Limited Space available. Registration accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. All registrations must go through the Sports Director. Registration forms can be found under the download section of this page located to your right!
